We did it! We made it to 100 days of prep!!
Since day one in prep we have been counting everyday. We count on tens frames, make bundles with popsticks, use a bead frame, a number flip and a 100s chart. We always find fun new ways to count the number of days.
Finally, last week we got to 100 and planned a fantastic day! Our dress up theme for the day was '100 year olds' and the kids made a great effort.
The morning was full of maths activities to do with 100. We made a paper chain of 100 strips, made necklaces of 100 froot loops and made '100 days' crowns to wear. We also played 'race to 100' and made 100 with bundles of popsticks!
For lunch we all brought in some yummy food and had a fun party. The kids loved it. Safe to say we were full of sugar!
To finish off the day our buddies came to visit and played games with us and brought us 100 balloons. Overall, it was a hugely successful 100th day of school!!!
