This year for Anzac Day the PFA organised a fantastic day of activities for the school. In the morning, the juniors participated in tabloid sports run by some Parade College students.
The students played many different kinds of sports and games including soccer and tunnel ball!
The teachers were treated to a coffee by one of our wonderful prep T dads who kindly brought his coffee van to school!
The lapathon was a huge success. Prep T did a wonderful job at running laps of the block. Max and Jack led the pace with 7 laps each! I was struggling to keep up with only 3 laps - so much for Preps only being able to walk! As soon as we started the kids were off and running!
In the afternoon we had a very special ANZAC ceremony to remember those who fought for us in the wars. It was nice to take time to reflect and remember how lucky we are. Here are a couple of pics from the day.
